Travel to the Top 10 Wine Destinations

Red Wine Sitting on a BarrelWine Enthusiast Magazine has named the top 10 wine destinations for the current year. Wine lovers have several location options to satisfy their thirst, including three in the United States. The selection process looked at several factors such as overall cultural experience, timeliness, travel infrastructure, and wine quality.  You may be surprised to learn of some of these wonderful wine destinations but that’s good news for the wine enthusiast.

However, I was surprised to see that some popular wine destinations failed to make the cut.  Long-time fave, France is absent from the top-10 list, as is Napa Valley.  I thought New Zealand and Chile would certainly make the list.  But, still there are more places than ever for you to visit on a wine vacation.  Wine aficionados can use this top 10 wine destinations list to plan an amazing, wine-filled week of tastings and tours.  For those looking to live the wine lifestyle, you will not go wrong using this Top 10 wine destinations list as your planning guide.
